Refund Policy

At pinkpeck.com, we aim to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This policy outlines your rights and the procedures for returns, exchanges and refunds, in compliance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Dutch consumer law.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, the item must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition
  • In its original, unopened, and undamaged packaging with all seals intact
  • Returned with all included accessories, manuals and free gifts

2. Hygiene Exception — Important

Due to hygiene and health protection reasons, the following items cannot be returned once the seal or packaging has been opened:

  • Intimate-use products
  • Personal care items
  • Lingerie and apparel where hygiene seals or stickers have been removed
  • Any sealed product whose seal or hygiene packaging has been broken

This exception is permitted under Article 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code, which exempts sealed goods unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Please inspect items carefully without breaking seals if you intend to return them.

3. How to Request a Return

To request a return for an eligible item:

  1. Email us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return
  3. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and the return address

Please do not send items back without first contacting us — unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome by email.

If the return is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item
  • The refund includes the product price; original shipping costs are refunded only if the entire order is returned
  • Processing times by your bank or payment provider may add a few additional business days

If the returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing components, we may reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value, in accordance with EU consumer law.

6. Faulty or Defective Items

Under EU consumer law, you are entitled to a remedy for goods that are not as described, defective, or unfit for purpose. This statutory protection applies for two years from the date of delivery.

If you receive a faulty or defective item:

  1. Contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible, ideally within 14 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number, photos of the fault, and a clear description
  3. Indicate whether you prefer a repair, replacement, or refund

We will arrange the appropriate remedy at no cost to you, including return shipping.

If a returned item is tested and found to be working correctly, it will be treated as an unwanted return and standard return conditions apply, including return shipping at your expense.

7. Wrong or Missing Items

If you receive an incorrect item or your order is missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and details. We will arrange the correct item or a full refund at no cost to you.

8. Undelivered or Refused Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because:

  • The address provided was incorrect
  • You refused delivery
  • The parcel was not collected from the pick-up point in time

We will contact you to arrange redelivery (additional shipping charges apply) or to process a refund minus the original shipping cost.

9. Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. If we have not yet processed your order, we will issue a full refund.

Once an order has been dispatched, the standard return procedure applies.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used intimate-use products (under hygiene exception, Article 6:230p(f) Dutch Civil Code)
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
  • Items not in their original condition or packaging
  • Sale items marked as final sale (where clearly indicated at purchase)
  • Gift cards

11. Failure to Respond

If we do not receive a response from you regarding a return query within 30 days of our last contact, we reserve the right to consider the matter closed and to dispose of any unclaimed returned goods.

12. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Dutch law. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
